Description

Apple’s first screenless MP3 player was Flash based instead of hard drive based.  It was available with 512Mb or 1.0Gb of space.  It could use USB 1.1 or 2.0 for connectivity.

History

The iPod shuffle built on the success of the iTunes Shuffle feature for a low-end, inexpensive MP3 player with high sound quality.

Timeline
